A new report claims that Apple has reportedly will expand its iAd advertising platform to Europe in partnership with a variety of strong brands will be announced later this week.

According to a report in the Financial Times, Apple twice delayed its European launch iAd in recent weeks, but is now ready for a list of brand partners.

The report notes that "early adopters include l'Or al, Renault and Nestl, two or three campaigns running on the iPhone and iPod touch apps in early December, most will not run until the following year, however."

iAd expansion

Apple announced its initial launch of the iAd in April and started showing the first ad in early July.

Just last week, Apple has expanded the iAd with the United States and United Kingdom on the Japanese market with Dentsu Group.

Apple's foray into mobile advertising immediately gave it considerable market share in emerging business mobile ads with IDC reported in September that Apple took 21 percent slice of the pie at the expense of Google, Microsoft and Yahoo.

As Apple expands its programme iAd, break some institution or develop their content in-house or trigger rules that institutions and some advertisers are too restrictive, two initial 17 advertisers pulled from iAd to place their ads on iPhone and iPad, using alternative ad networks.
